Elf Dance AI Not Working? 8 Common Problems and Fixes

Most problems with an elf dance AI video come down to the photo, the browser or a busy render queue. Here are the problems we see most often with Elf Dance AI and how to fix each one. If nothing here helps, email yaohongan20@qq.com with your order ID.

1. "This photo can’t be used"

Every photo is checked before it is used. Photos of children, celebrities or public figures, and photos with nudity or violence, are rejected. Use a photo of yourself, an adult who agreed, or your pet. If a normal photo of an adult is rejected, try a different, clearer photo.

I'm 18 or older and I only upload photos of myself or people who agreed (pets are fine). No minors, celebrities or public figures.

2. The upload fails

Photos must be JPG, PNG or WebP and under 10 MB. On an iPhone the photo picker converts HEIC photos to JPG for you; on a computer, export a HEIC file as JPG first. If the upload still fails, try another browser (Chrome or Safari) or switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data.

3. The video is taking a long time

A video normally takes 3–5 minutes and can take longer in the busy weeks before Christmas. You can close the page: the video keeps rendering, we email you when it is ready, and it waits in My videos. You can have up to 3 videos rendering at the same time.

4. The render failed

If a render fails, the video goes back to your balance automatically and you can try again right away, ideally with a sharper, front-facing photo. If we hit the daily rendering capacity, you will see a message and your balance is not used; try again the next day.

5. The video does not look like me (or my pet)

The AI keeps the face from your photo, so the photo matters most: one person or animal, face sharp and well lit, looking at the camera, no sunglasses or heavy filters. If a finished video still does not look right, email yaohongan20@qq.com within 14 days with your order ID and we refund you.

6. I paid but have no videos

Payments usually show up within a minute. Refresh the page and check the balance in the top bar. If you paid with a different Google account than the one you are signed in with, sign in with the account you used at checkout. If the balance is still missing after 10 minutes, email us with the payment receipt.

7. Google sign-in does not open

Allow pop-ups for this site and make sure third-party cookies are not fully blocked, then try again. In-app browsers (inside Instagram, TikTok or Facebook) often block Google sign-in: open the page in Safari or Chrome instead.

8. I did not get the email

Check your spam and Promotions folders for an email from noreply@elfdanceai.com. You do not need the email to get your video: sign in and open My videos. Videos are kept for 30 days, so download the MP4 before then.
